My daughter and I returned last week from a visit to our nation’s capital.  Thanks to Ambassador, we visited many historical sites and museums – including the memorable and impacting Museum of the Bible!  We returned home with thankful hearts for a better vision of the rallying cry of our founding fathers as they built our country on the tenets of God’s Word.

Many of the founding fathers of the United States of America were men of deep religious convictions based in the Bible and faith – of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, nearly half (24) held seminary or Bible school degrees . The rallying cry of the Founding Fathers of our nation expressed their strong moral and spiritual convictions which helped form the foundations of our nation and our government.

And, in its unswerving commitment to the pro-life message, Life Issues Institute’s rallying cry has served to form the foundation of the organization for over 25 years.   And now, it’s this same rallying cry which has led to the merging of the Life Issues Institute with the Susan B. Anthony List, locking arms officially to most effectively advance the shared mission of each organization!

Reflecting on the news, Brad Mattes, President of Life Issues Institute, notes:

Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List organization and I, have long admired each other’s work on behalf of the babies, so it seemed natural to bring our two organizations together—stronger and more effective in our mission to end legal abortion and to protect innocent human life from womb to tomb. I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are at the Institute to be part of this monumental development!”

We invite you to visit the organizational websites for additional detail on the three-pronged organization newly formed with emphasis on advocacy at grassroots level (Life Issues Institute), legislative advocacy (Susan B. Anthony List) and Charlotte Lozier Institute (research)—all working to safeguard the innocent and equip those who will fight for life!

And, looking ahead to NRB 2018, please mark your calendar for March 1st as the newly merged team looks forward to hosting a special luncheon reception. This invite-only event for valued station partners will be a key gathering of pro-life voices and a timely update about where we need to focus efforts in 2018 in an on-going commitment to save lives. As you make your NRB plans, email me at Lee@ambaa.com for details regarding this important gathering and we’ll be sure to reserve your seat!

You’ll also want to start making plans now to carry the 2018 Sanctity of Life radio special from the Life Issues Institute in January!  The 26:00 special focuses on the second largest and fastest growing criminal industry in the world, human trafficking.   “Victims in the Shadows” underscores the concerning reality that human trafficking isn’t just happening in other areas of the world, it’s happening in our communities. Contact me now at Lee@ambaa.com for clearance to air this special on January 21st and share with your listeners what parents, churches and, each of us, can do to help stop this growing crime that devastatingly devalues the lives it touches.
