What’s Your Story?

By: Selah Cosentino December 19, 2017

“Life change” is certainly a consistent theme in the Gospel of John.  It chronicles Jesus’ earthly ministry and miracles, the 12 Disciples’ journeys and transformation, and the crucifixion and resurrection.  Often, churches encourage new believers to kick-start their Bible reading by getting to know John.

That’s because this book lays out the plan of salvation and the beauty of God’s love for humanity.  It’s compelling and powerful.  It’s exciting and dramatic.  It’s sobering and redemptive.

Life change isn’t found only within John’s pages; many Christians have stories about how this book significantly impacted their lives.  Perhaps it was a turn from atheism to Christ.  It might have been a lesson in extending grace to neighbors “different than us.”  Or maybe it was the restoration of faith and hope during a trying time.

Send your story!

No matter what it is, if you have a story about how the book of John changed your life, we want to hear it!  In January, listeners to HAVEN Today will join Charles Morris on a 21-day study, when each day features a chapter from John and a testimony of life change.

In fact, Charles would love for one of those testimonies to be yours … or a story from one of your team!  Please pass the word on to your colleagues, and submit your story either to 951-729-3119 (voicemail) or johnstory@haventoday.org!

Don’t miss ANCHOR Today—especially in January!

ANCHOR Today, Haven Ministries’ daily 60-second audio devotional voiced by David Wollen, is uniquely paralleling the daily program for this special series.  If you don’t yet air ANCHOR Today, now might be the time to consider the feature.  For stations that use Amb-OS, we customize the program with your station’s ID/logo—a feature that’s been widely popular!

 Thank you!

As we wrap up 2017, we want to thank you for your meaningful ministry partnership this year.  Because of your commitment to the ministry of Haven, we’re able to widely share the Great Story that’s all about Jesus.  Looking forward to all that’s to come in 2018!
