Last month, I received an email from FamilyLife’s new President/CEO, David Robbins. It was his first email to Legacy Partners (monthly supporters) since Dennis Rainey handed the reins over to him on December 1.
Understandably, when there’s a change in leadership the next question is usually, “What’s next?”
From what I’ve heard so far, not much will change this year except to carry on with the new parenting initiative launching in the Spring. That’s encouraging news. But what I’m most excited to share with you—our FamilyLife Today station partner—are portions of David’s email underscoring his support of the broadcast and why it’s so important to your listeners…
As I settle into my new role as CEO of FamilyLife®, I have been so encouraged by the daily comments from listeners of our radio broadcast, FamilyLife Today®. So many people stay true to their walk with Christ because of this critically important ministry.
Then in closing, David recognizes the need for the broadcast by saying…
People across our nation desperately need to hear practical, biblically-based help for life’s most important relationships: God, spouse and kids.
Thank you so much for caring. May God bless you with His joy and peace every day.
Generation after Generation,
FamilyLife President, CEO
I believe he’s not only thanking the ministry’s monthly supporters but the radio partners–you–who day-in-and-day-out bring FamilyLife Today to the listeners in your community.
We’d love to introduce you to David Robbins. If you’re heading to Nashville later this month for NRB, he will join Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine and the rest of the FamilyLife team for several events. Take a look below at a few of the opportunities available and email me if you can join us:
