When much of the world shut down during pandemic-stricken 2020, so did FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember events.

It wasn’t long before the ministry started hearing from couples about the isolation they were experiencing … in their marriage.  In fact, near the end of the summer the most viewed article on FamilyLife’s website was “What Does the Bible Say about Divorce?”

In response to what FamilyLife was learning through the challenges of last year, the team went to work to create online resources to help restore, strengthen, and protect these marriages and families.

This month the ministry released Dates to Remember—a date box created so couples can have a marriage-building experience right in their own home.  It doesn’t replace FamilyLife’s weekend getaways entirely but it can provide the help and hope marriages need so they can begin moving from isolation to oneness now.  And this is a great resource for couples that just need a dose of encouragement and fun — just in time for Valentine’s Day.  Visit FamilyLife.com/datebox for all the details.

In the meantime, while Covid-19 and state and local restrictions continue to impact the Weekend to Remember schedule, FamilyLife is doing everything to be sure couples feel safe when these marriage events return.  More on this can be found here as well as list of Spring events cancelled thus far.  For a short list of the select cities holding Weekend to Remember events in 2021, feel free to email me.

It’s our hope and prayer our partnership with stations around FamilyLife’s events will resume in the very near future.  For now, we’re delighted to continue partnering with you on behalf of all the broadcast ministries we serve.
