A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold.  (Proverbs 22:1)

In today’s culture, we’ve all seen how quickly social media can either bolster the reputation of a person or business, or destroy it.  Like the story of a young boy who becomes a hero for saving his sister from a kidnapper while a beloved football player becomes known as a bully for one moment of unsportsmanlike conduct.

It’s the character and values we exhibit that contributes to our reputation and can say to others we can be trusted, or not.  According to Steve Robinson, former VP/CMO of Chick-fil-A, that’s what founder Truett Cathy had in mind when he started his fast-food restaurant business in 1967.

Coming up on FamilyLife Today (7/23-24), Steve Robinson joins Dave and Ann Wilson and Bob Lepine to share the core values that made the beloved restaurant chain so successful.  Your listeners will be surprised to hear just how much of those same traits helped Steve become a godly leader in his own home.

Be sure to encourage your audience to tune in for this interview as well as others airing in July.  For all the details on FamilyLife Today and FamilyLife This Week, check out the Program Tool Kit here.  And if you air one of the ministry’s short features–FamilyLife Blended or Real FamilyLife–we have their title sheets (FLB / RFL) available at our Dropbox, too.
