Katie graduated from Biola University from the School of Business with an emphasis in marketing—skills she’s put to good use as part of Ambassador’s marketing team, in representing ministries we serve to radio stations across the country to maximize their outreach potential.
She’s proof that creative thinking results in innovation—as she’s also assisted in bringing our visual communication process into the digital age, whether it be website design, logo creation or designing numerous Ambassador releases, her professional imprimatur is evident in the images Ambassador produces.
Katie lives near the beach—in the city of Huntington Beach to be more precise, where you’ll likely see her riding a bike to the beach, walking on the beach or entertaining friends at the beach!
The ministry of Refuge (Calvary Chapel in Huntington Beach) is close to Katie’s heart as she volunteers her leadership and creativity (and considerable entertaining!) in mentoring college-age students.
When we asked—she said:
I’m content to. . . go without technology. On a semi-regular basis, I accidentally forget my phone at home. And then there was the time I lost my phone in Nairobi. It teaches me I don’t need to be as connected as I believe I need to be.
My next airline ticket. . . is to New Zealand, I hope! It would be part volunteer serving at a church youth conference and part tourist (yes, I’d like to visit Hobbiton!). My recent travels include Israel, Kenya, England, France and Italy.
I’m at my best. . . when what I’m working on is bigger than me.
If I could I’d. . . like to buy the world a Coke!
