“Beware that you don’t look down upon a single one of these little children. For I tell you that in heaven their angels have constant access to my Father.”
—Matthew 18:10

Four-year-old, Celine, was born with cataracts in both of her eyes, giving her clouded vision similar to a fogged up window.

With difficulty reading, seeing the expression on a friend’s face, or even walking, her father’s heart broke for her every time she tripped and fell. He says, “I feared that she would not have a job—or a future.”

By the Lord’s mercy, Celine was admitted into Mercy Ships and received a free surgery onboard in Benin, West Africa. For the first time in her life, there was hope!

The day after her surgery, the bandages were removed and Celine walked with confident steps down the gangway as she and her delighted father returned home.

Mercy restored Celine’s vision … and now her future is as bright as the colors she’s seeing for the very first time!
