For many years, our founder, Al Sanders spoke of his desire to finish well. Recognizing that all things—people as well as organizations—have a “season,” the prayer to finish well is now ours at Ambassador, organizationally.

After nearly 70 years engaged in ministry, we have made the decision that Ambassador Advertising Agency’s season will come to conclusion later this year.  As we work through the many dynamics of such a change, be assured we will continue to share specific updates for each ministry we serve.

Over these seven decades, Ambassador has had the extraordinary privilege of being involved in the launching of broadcasts from some of the most significant Christian communicators of our era— Joni Eareckson Tada, Chuck Swindoll, Chuck Colson, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and many more.  We are also grateful for others who came to AAA for help in further amplifying the impact of existing efforts—Grace to You (John MacArthur), UpWords (Max Lucado), and Focus on the Family who took to heart Al Sanders’ urging and began a 15-minute daily program in 1980.

We are deeply grateful for the relationships forged over so many years—too many to recount.  That includes those we served as clients as well as station personnel from across the country.  We always spoke about “partners” because that is what we knew to be true.  We were one leg of a three-legged stool, blessed beyond measure to extend the impact of Christian media while so thoroughly enjoying the people we worked alongside to make it all possible.

We are also immeasurably appreciative of the staff who chose to include a stint at Ambassador on their resume—most especially including the remarkable crew who make up the team today, and who will be grateful for your prayers as they necessarily begin a new season as well.

Truly we stand in wonder of the privilege afforded us to do this Kingdom work.  Still, we keep clearly in view the perspective of our founder. Whenever affirmed for Ambassador’s influence and impact over the years, Al would immediately deflect that and refer to the story of Abraham’s servant (Genesis 24:27) saying simply—“I, being in the way, the Lord led me.”

It is our confidence that He will continue to lead His people in the effective sharing of His Word, fulfilling the calling of 2 Corinthians 5:20 to serve as ambassadors for Christ.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  There will be NO interruption of the operation of Amb-OS which will continue to serve with delivery of Christian teaching and talk broadcasts.
