What can we say—we don’t mind nepotism at Ambassador. So when veteran Michelle Blood suggested that her daughter-in-law, Kari Medina, might be interested in working here, an interview was arranged and the Marketing team was a resounding YES!
Although her degree is in an unrelated field (Kinesiology), Kari’s commitment to excellence and attention to detail has proved to be a major plus for our efforts in station relations and client services. In addition to being the frontline representative for several organizations, she also manages our communication stream to station partners, including creation of our “mAAAx fax,” “A-List,” and more.
A native of Lancaster (the California one!), Kari met her husband, Joe (Michelle’s son), when she came to Orange County for education. They’ve been married since 2015 and are parents to Jameson and, as of June 2020, little Jack.
The family currently attends Cornerstone Christian Fellowship (Fountain Valley) and when not working, they enjoy all that life in the OC offers including nature walks near the beach and trips to Disneyland!
When asked, Kari responded with the following:
In the summertime. . . you will likely find me and my husband and son at the beach or poolside.
Favorite Indulgences. . . Rainbow Sherbet OR Mint Chip Ice Cream (from Baskin Robbins)
Plane Tickets to. . . Tahiti please (with my husband) 🙂
Favorite Color. . . Purple
Favorite Décor Themes. . . Coastal &/ Patriotic!
