Edmund Burke once said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”

That’s why every day on “Life Issues,” Brad Mattes is committed to encouraging, educating and supporting listeners regarding the value of innocent human life:

“I think of our radio program Life Issues as a life-saving tool. Every week day, our goal is to teach listeners how to be an advocate for the protection of innocent human life.”

And with the upcoming election in November, now is the time to take a stance on life saving issues.  Critical decisions are being made this year and, as Brad notes, “Perhaps more than any other time in decades, we have the chance to change the conversation-and legislation-about the value of life and the future of our nation.”

In addition to airing the daily 1:00 “Life Issues” radio commentary, radio stations are encouraged to use the resources listed on the Life Issues Institute web site to help educate listeners on major legislation being passed and conversations taking place on life topics.

Included in the resources are education pages on each party briefly quoting excerpts of their respective party planks on the life issues. These educational comparison pieces are available for sharing on social media and websites.

“We must continue to build a culture of life that counters the “pro-choice” mentality in American society. And getting that word out is vital.” Brad.

On behalf of Brad and the Life Issue Institute team, thank you for your partnership in that commitment!

P.S. In an era of rapidly changing values impacting the sanctity of human life, looms the critical question:  at end of life-who gets to choose?  Production is almost complete on the timely 2017 Sanctity of Human Life radio special, “End of Life:  Who Gets to Choose?” In one of the most stirring segments in the special, a practicing hospital nurse tells the chilling account of being hospitalized and hearing her own case being discussed-locked in a coma-like state fully aware of her surroundings-with no ability to respond. It’s a story you won’t soon forget. More details on the special available soon!
