At our church’s annual meeting last week, my daughter Rebecca was asked to share about the launch of the Students for Life group at her public high school.  When our pastor asked her how she manages the negative, sometimes hateful, reactions from people, her response was simple yet profound:

When you have the God of the universe on your side, you know you’re doing what you’re supposed to be doing.

She went on to say that as she does things to defend unborn babies, whether it’s holding a drive for a local Crisis Pregnancy Center, or showing the movie, Unplanned, she knows she is doing what God is calling her to do and that He is on her side . . . the side of life.

This past week, many of us listened to the State of the Union address as President Trump called upon the Members of Congress to pass legislation finally banning  the late-term abortion of babies. The President added, “Whether we are Republican, Democrat or Independent, surely we must all agree that every human life is a sacred gift from God.”

Brad Mattes, President of the Life Issues Institute, reflected on the address and President Trump,

This is a president who’s not afraid to stand up for those too tiny to defend themselves.

Following the State of the Union, Brad joined Mallory Quigley, Vice President of Communications, Susan B Anthony List, and other pro-life leaders, at Press Conferences in Florida as part of their national pro-life group 2020 campaign plan. Brad notes,

the urgency of nearly 2,400 daily deaths drives the President, pro-life elected officials, and grassroots Americans to engage more, educate more and motivate more of their fellow citizens to the human toll of abortion.

Both Brad and Mallory will be attending NRB 2020 and are available for interviews to help keep your listeners informed on the latest pro-life front activity – contact me at, lee@ambaa.com for scheduling!
