“Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God’s sight is very precious.” – 1 Peter 3:3-4

This week on “Revive Our Hearts,” Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth begins a teaching series on “God’s Beautiful Design for Women: Living Out Titus 2:1-5” based on material from her new book, Adorned.

In this signature work by Nancy (releasing February 7th), she shares from Paul’s instructions to women in Titus and she helps women understand . . .

  • how we’re supposed to respond in this kind of world.
  • how we’re supposed to think.
  • how we’re supposed to live.
  • how we’re supposed to act.
  • how we’re supposed to pass the baton of faith to the next generation.

At a time when there is much confusion about gender identity and a women’s role, this series provides clear teaching from God’s Word.  But while doctrine is important, it isn’t enough.  We need to learn how truth and life combine in beautiful ways.

Nancy says:

When we are adorned with another’s love, we develop a greater capacity to reflect love and beauty to others.  God has placed us here on earth as ambassadors of the gospel of Christ.  We are called to make His love and truth believable and beautiful to others.

May even more women be inspired to ‘adorn the doctrine of God our Savior’ (Titus 2:10) as we let the beauty of Christ shine through us . . . together.

Thank you for partnering with us in sharing this important message to the women (and men!) in your audience.  To help promote this special series, we encourage you to use the promo copy provided in the February Toolkit (opens in Dropbox).
