This is the original recipe I got from my friend Tricia Duffy over 20 years ago — however, I now make it differently to cut calories/fat.  I buy the toasted/no salt slivered almonds from Trader Joes then I only have to toast the sesame seeds.  I use a metal pie tin and bake them in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes till golden brown (stirring every two minutes to keep from burning).

To make it easier, I cut up the cabbage and green onion the night before and put the noodles, almonds and sesame seeds in a Ziploc bag then add to the cabbage along with the dressing right before serving.  Also great with CHICKEN added for a main course meal!  YUMMMM!
