I thank God for the mountains,

and I thank Him for the valleys,

I thank Him for the storms He brought me through.

For if I’d never had a problem,

I wouldn’t know God could solve them,

I’d never know what faith in God could do.

-Andrae Crouch, “Through It All”

“This” may be a sudden calamity, a burning wound, a major struggle . . . whatever it is, from his own journey of grief, Jim Garlow shares confidently that while “this” may knock the wind out of our spiritual sails, it can also send us straight to the strength of the Father.  The clear reminder is that even out of the darkest life situations (or in the most ordinary ones), God has a plan to get us through, preparing us for eternity ahead!

During November on “The Garlow Perspective,” listeners will journey alongside Jim as he shares twenty-six of the most life-changing lessons he’s learned as a husband, father, teacher, and friend.  This content is based on his new book, God Will See You Through This: 26 Lessons I Learned from the Father through the Joys and Hurts of Everyday Life.  Jim explores topics like persevering through suffering, facing disease, and losing a loved one.

Jim shares,

God will get me through this. I was counting on those words being true when Carol died.  We’d been married for forty-two years.  I had been so deeply in love with her—and now she was gone.  Frankly, I felt lost.  I could not see a way forward.  My heart was broken.  Shattered.  I was not sure how to function.  Would God get me through this?  We all have a “this.”  By “this,” I mean a major life setback, tragedy, loss.  Whatever your “this” is, I want you to know there are others who understand . . . I promise you that Someone cares.  And He, my friend, will indeed see you through your “this.”

Encourage your listeners to tune in for this special (and very personal) series of messages from Jim.
