The Top Ten list is a staple in our culture. Comedian David Letterman delivered more than 4,000 of his iconic Top Ten lists during his late-night reign on TV. And today, you can find Top Ten lists on sports or music or newsmakers, everywhere from ESPN to MTV to C-SPAN.
But what about a Top Ten with eternal consequences?

Share Life Today’s John Sorensen recently presented his Ten Most Wanted challenge, asking listeners to make a list of 10 people they want to see come to saving faith in Jesus Christ this year. He also encouraged listeners to commit to pray for those people faithfully throughout 2017.

“Most Christians pray for the lost in a general sense, like praying for the unsaved millions around the world,” John said, “But what would happen if Christians made our prayers pinpoint specific?”

The challenge doesn’t stop with naming and praying, though. John stresses how important it is to support those prayers with action, intentionally building and nurturing the relationships with the people on your list. And if enough Christians choose 10 unsaved friends to pray for and evangelize, who knows how many the Lord will draw in to multiply His kingdom?

Are you ready to create your Top Ten? Share Life Today has created a video to help encourage you with this challenge; then you can share it with others! Check it out here: http://evangelismexplosion.org/pray/

And as you list, pray and share the gospel with your friends, be encouraged! The Lord promises that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16 (KJV)
