Heaven Rules!

“This confidence is a life preserver; it steadies our hearts when fear and uncertainty threaten to overwhelm us.”

Last week, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth began a letter to Revive Our Hearts ministry partners with these words.  At first glance, they are, of course, universally fitting as the nation—the world—confronts the pandemic of the Coronavirus.

However, Nancy had further reason for this reiteration of her faith as she shared that her husband, Robert, has been diagnosed with a melanoma that will require removal of his earlobe.  The cancer diagnosis is one that shakes our foundation.  Once again, however, in His providence, He has prepared this couple in so many ways, including the fact that Nancy recently spoke to thousands at an ROH conference in Mexico, the theme of which was “Rooted.”

She reminded the women that:

  • If you’re not rooted in Christ and His Word, you won’t be able to withstand trials.
  • If you don’t have trials, you won’t develop strong, deep roots.

Because Nancy and Robert are much loved through the Christian media world, we wanted to be sure that you knew of this journey for them.

You can follow that best at a CaringBridge page already set up: caringbridge.org/visit/robertwolgemuth

Thank you for joining in prayer, confident that He will provide all that is necessary for the difficult days ahead of this couple—ahead of us all.

In addition to special programming provided on the daily broadcast, Nancy and the ROH team have launched these new resources to provide encouragement for women who may be feeling stressed or stranded during this unusual season:

And for Easter, Revive Our Hearts offers a 10-day Easter Preparation Guide to meditate on Jesus’ trial, His last seven words from the cross, and His resurrection.
