Leading in Sunday’s special worship service for delegates at the Republican National Convention, Pastor Jim Garlow said, “If there’s going to be a coronation in Cleveland, let it be a coronation for King Jesus!”  In his message, he also challenged pastors to “stop telling stories about Dietrich Bonhoeffer and start acting like him.”

Just as he does on his daily radio feature, “The Garlow Perspective,” Jim doesn’t shy away from speaking out about the cultural issues of the day and addressing them from a biblical perspective.

When Jim learned he was being forced to pay for abortions (and that everyone in California is), he decided to fight back.  Last week, Jim was in Washington DC to testify before Congress over the Conscience Protection Act which was passed by the House of Representatives, intended to protect the rights of health care providers, churches, and other groups that oppose abortion.  Following the pro-life vote, Jim said, “No American should be forced to participate in abortion.”
