Earlier this month on “The Garlow Perspective,” Jim Garlow said,

Like it or not, all of us are the sum total of the tiny decisions we make each day!  If you don’t like who you’ve become, perhaps it’s because of the thousands of small, seemingly insignificant decisions you’ve made each day over the years.  If you like what you’ve become and are becoming, it’s because you’ve made several hundred thousand small, moment-by-moment decisions in a very wise manner.

Most people don’t realize that life is comprised of lots of little decisions—all with a huge cumulative impact—the sum total of the so-called small decisions that builds character.  Godly character doesn’t just suddenly appear!  Character doesn’t just happen when we’re called to a position of leadership.  One forges a character through disciplined patterns of behavior!

To gain more godly wisdom, Jim encourages you and your listeners to read the book of Proverbs.

Perhaps in this message, Jim is reflecting on his own life as he turns 70 on May 25th!  If you have been impacted by Jim and his ministry as a pastor and cultural commentator, we invite you to send him a birthday greeting either by email: jimgarlow@cox.net or post on Facebook where he is actively engaged!
